Exciting!! Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update XIV: Central Eastern Europe has been released and its a beauty! We now have amazing added scenery for Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
According to the Microsoft forums, World update XIV covers new full coverage aerial imagery, incorporating even more bing maps and Maxar elevation data.
It includes a whopping 103 points of interests made up of
- 18 in Zcechia
- 15 in Slovakia
- 19 in Hungary
- 15 in Slovenia
- 23 in Croatia
- 13 in Bosnia
There are also 6 bespoke airports based on Microsofts partnership with Gaya Simulations, including
- Karlovy Vary Airport (LKKV in Czechia
- Poprad-Tatry Aiport (LZTT) in Slovakia
- Pécs-Pogány Airport (LHPP) in Hungary
- Zagorje ob Savi Airport (LJZA) in Slovenia
- Rijeka International Airport (LDRI) in Croatia
- Prijedor Urije Airport (LQPD) in Bosnia-Herzegovina
If thats not all there are 10 cities and local areas which Microsoft has collaborated with Vexcel including
- Prague, Brno, and Plzeň in Czechia
- Budapest in Hungary
- Ljubljana and Maribor in Slovenia
- Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia
- Sarajevo and Banja Luka in Bosnia-Herzegovina

The best thing about Worldupdate XVI is its available to all Microsoft Flight simulator owners. You’ll need to make sure your flight sim is already version 1.33.8.0 according to Microsoft.
